Welcome to our Blog on Two Leg's fight for life

We will never forget the 5th of November, not so much because of terrorism and gun powder plots but because that was the day that 12 beautiful little Eurycantha nymphs came into our lives.

Straight away we went out and gathered bramble and twigs and set up a lovely little environment for them in a medium sized fish tank with a heat mat below to keep the air humid and warm. Over the next few days all twelve explored their new home and munched away on the tasty bramble leaves. Then it happened - we had our first skin shedding!

Unfortunately the nymph had a rather hard time shedding its skin and though it survived it only had its front two legs left (and small stumps where the others had been) since then it has been a daily holding of breath to see if he has managed to survive the night with his horrendous disability.
